All Ireland Tickets Update.
All Ireland Final Tickets will be distributed to adult club members on Monday evening August 30th at 8.30pm in club rooms. Juvenile ticket distribution will take place on Tuesday August 31st at 8pm.

Kellogs Field of Dreams - Danesfort are currently provincial winners!!
Danesfort GAA club have been announced as winners of the provincial stage of the All Ireland Field of Dreams competition.
This Kellogs sponsored competition which started back at the beginning of this year will see one club win receiving a playing field makeover worth €100,000.
The contest which commenced with 500 clubs from all over the country from a variety of sports including soccer, rugby, football, hurling cricket and schools is now down to four – the winner from each province.
Kellogg's and an expert panel of judges have selected a finalist from each province in Ireland
Danesfort will carry the flag for Leinster in this national competition over the next two months. The winner will be announced on the Late Late Show on October 29th.
As provincial winners the Danesfort club will now automatically receive €10,000 worth of professional groundsmanship with expert advice on making the most of their prize.
A public vote will decide the ultimate winner between now and the end of October. The 4 finalists will feature on RTE television and each will be mentored by one of the Kellogg's Field of Dreams celebrity champions: Ireland rugby player Rob Kearney and RTE presenters Marty Morrissey, Tracy Piggott and Jacqui Hurley.
The Leinster and Danesfort mentor is Rugby star Rob Kearney.
The next stage of the competitions kicks off immediately. To support Danesfort and Leinster win this magnificent prize you can do one of the following.
1. Log on to Kelloggs Field of Dreams and vote on line. Click Here!!
2. Text kelloggs Leinster to 53799.
3. Collect coupons at the back of any Kelloggs Cornflakes or Crunchy Nut packs and send them directly to Kelloggs or drop them in to box’s around the city and county. These will be named shortly.
On
Tuesday next from 2 PM a crew of staff from Kelloggs will be at the Danesfort
club to cut the club TV advertisement for the coming months. Rob Kearney as
Leinster mentor will be in attendance. We would invite all club members and
parishioners to come along to this.
The

The
next few months promise to be exciting in Danesfort.

Good Luck to the Danesfort Under 14 Camogie team who take part in this years Feile na nGael which takes place in Clare this weekend.
Danesfort are drawn in section A of the competition and will start with a game against Sarfields at 2pm on Friday 18th June.

Under 14 Feile Champions!
Well done to the under 14 Camogie team who became County Feile Champions last Sunday (May 1st).They beat Windgap on a score of Danesfort 2-1, Windgap 0-0. The under 14s now go on to represent Kilkenny in the All Ireland Finals in Ennis on the 18/19/20 June.

Danesfort appoint new manager.
The Danesfort Intermaedite hurling team has appointed former Kilkenny all star Michael "Titch" Phelan as their new boss.
Michael "Titch" Phelan is a former Kilkenny hurler who won All-Ireland medals with his club Glenmore in 1991 and with Kilkenny in 1992 and 1993. His success was recognised with an All Star medal in 1992. Michael collected Leinster medals in 1991, 1992 and 1993, and also a National Hurling League Medal in 1995.
